Payments were presented to cotton farmers who insured their fields at the event held at the Agdam branch of "MKT Cotton" LLC.

Last year, some of the cotton fields covered by agricultural insurance were damaged as a result of storms, hailstorms and actions of third parties. On March 14, at the event held at the Agdam branch of "MKT Cotton" LLC, payments were presented to cotton farmers who insured their fields. About 76,000 AZN insurance was paid to 55 farmers who suffered from the risk of cotton fields flooding in Aghdam, symbolic checks were presented to the farmers. With this, more than 116 thousand manats were paid to 60 farmers whose cotton fields were flooded and damaged by the actions of third parties in Agdam, Tartar, Barda, Imishli, and Goranboy regions.
Within the framework of the event, a meeting with local farmers was held in the administrative building of "MKT Agdam" branch with the participation of DAIM management. The representatives of the Agrarian Insurance Fund gave extensive information to the farmers about the agrarian insurance mechanism, its benefits and the terms of crop insurance, and their questions were answered in detail.
